Are you using IBM WebExplorer?
Download the lastest version from IBM.
Change the animation of you "In Progress" icon.

Apply Corrective Service Fixpacks via WWW. Boy, I wish I'd found this before I downloaded 16meg to floppies!

If you have a device on your PC that is being ornory, you need to visit the OS/2 Device Driver Depository. If the equipment will operate under OS/2, this is where you'll find the driver.

Speaking of equipment, check out the Hardware Compatibility Database, listing the equipment IBM has tested with OS/2.

And of course, there's software:
IBM's OS/2 Software Page is a good source for free programs.
PKZip/Unzip, commands for compressing and decompressing under OS/2. ***Shareware***
Info-Zip, a no fee, PKZip compatible, file unarchiver.
    NOTE-- When you execute this file, it creates three subdirectoies.
    Use the routine in the 32-BIT directory and trash the rest of the stuff.
Unzip (IBM License) is a 16-bit version for Warp available from IBM.
Entertainment Pack #1 and Entertainment Pack #2 contain several good PM based games.
Unix-to-Unix Encoder, the PM interface makes it slow, but it's easy to use.
UU Code- Plus, a set of command line UUE processing routines.
OS2 Mime Decoder, this routine processes messages in Base64 format.
